2026 Fall Preseason Fielding Clinic


Prepare for the upcoming season with six focused fielding sessions designed to improve defensive fundamentals, mechanics, confidence, and game readiness.


**Clinic Dates:**

August 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, and 20

**Time:**

6:00 to 8:00 PM


**Location:**

West Essex Regional High School

Back Field


Throughout the clinic, players will receive instruction in:


* Glove work and fielding mechanics

* Footwork, angles, and approaches

* Throwing mechanics and arm action

* Ball pursuit and defensive positioning

* Outfield play and communication

* Competitive, game-like defensive situations


Each two-hour session will combine detailed skill instruction with structured and competitive repetitions, helping players prepare physically and mentally for the upcoming season.


Players interested in developing at first base are encouraged to bring a first baseman’s mitt.


Enrollment is open to both Rawlings Tigers and non-Tigers players.
